but the Intels in a new imac are same as PC ones, The 360 tricore is a complete new development compared to thePPC.


Im actually using a Mac now with safari and the space bar doesnt work and i feel sick. The toolbarat the bottom looks like its from a Kids Vtech computer

even though im not a fan of firefox its a lot better than safari on the mac....

the 360 chip was developed for and soley for the xbox 360 there is not another chip in any pc or mac that is similar

All i said was that it used power pc cores and mac's also used power pc chips, which is 100% correct.

Surprised none of you have seen about the european ps3 yet.

Apparently they have a new cheaper to manufacture chasis and the european ps2 game support won't be as good as it is on the current jap and US consoles.

Sounds like they've taken the ps2 hardware out to reduce costs and they still haven't got the ps2 emulated properly on the ps3 hardware.

TBH playing last gen games doesnt appeal to me some i not bothered. Only Halo2 is worth playing and Forza.

Why was it such a BIG deal when it came out originally that the ps3 was having problems with backwards compatability and the 360 had got it sorted after a few months?

I don't know who exactly took part in that thread but I know 100% there was one.
