I've just thought of this one, now hold on to your hats lads, why didn't MS do what Sony did and not release a console that is fucked, by all acounts, into the marketplace.

Instead iron out the problems and sell working consoles and have all the 360 fan boys piss the bed at night over the fact the Sony had '15 months more development time with insignificant increase in performance'

it was only phase 1 consoles that had non cooled power supplies. MS replaced any faulty ones and phase 2 consoles are very stable.

Now kindly STFU and look at sonys fiasco with batteries etc

If they had spent 15 months more developing instead of rushing it out for Christmas then maybe there would have been no replacement programme to speak of.

it wasnt a replacement program, only ones thta failed are replaced for free EVEN without warranty. They were made by a third party so NOT MS

Dave had an origianl since launch and has no probs i believe

Ive got a 360, and no intention to buy a PS3 (cos of the price ) but I voted sony. I call the buttons on the xbox pad x, square, triangle etc... and my mates know what I mean its just a habit from the PS2
