Just use the oil pressure sensor hole on the back of the oil pump?

its a real bastard to get to.
Is there space enough for one of the normal vauxhall pressure sensors?

Should be fine yeah, that looks just a normal pressure sender you use for a oil guage/digidash, should fit fine.
Best way get to it is get the drivers wheel off and through the drivers wheel arch.

Its on a nova
Ill give it ago tommorow.
Any idea of the thread size? I take it ill need an adaptor?
Ill only be running the pressure sensor for the gauges and not a pressure switch so wont need a T-Piece

Do you just need swap the std engine pressure sender for a different one?
Just get a aftermarket sender with the same thread as the original vaux one.

The standard one is not actually a sensor, it is purely a switch, so if there is any oil pressure at all, it activates a switch, which turns off the oil light on the dash.

If he has a digidash oil pressure guage working then its a 2pin sensor.
Std there a 1pin switch.

Just get a aftermarket sensor with the Vaux sender thread. Sorted
