I'll be replacing my X14XE with one of these once I have rebuilt it! My car just now does not have power steering, so I'd be looking at removing the power steering pump from the C16XE. What I want to know is will I have to get a new engine mount or will the one thats already there be ok? And can I just take the alternator and tensioner off my X14XE and fit it to the C16XE?

use the drivers side engine mount off your x14xe.... should bolt straight onto the c16xe.....

you may need a shorter Aux belt....

use the alternator, pulleys and belt off the x14xe ooh and the drivers side mount too

does the x14xw run across the slam panel or round the back?

I think it runs round the back, I remember it being different to the C16XE anyway!
