My Car has an airbag at the moment in the standard Vauxhall wheel

Bought a Momo wheel from off Ebay

Now obviously the airbag disconnects when I remove the wheel. Do I need to take any precautions when doing this?

Also how does this affect me choosing which boss kit to get?

Cheers

just remove the battery and disconnect the airbag wiring (yellow wire under the plasti ignition cover) before taking the wheel off.

easiest way to stop the airbag light coming on is to remove the bulb.

Cheers

Been searching back & it says disconnect battery about 30 mins prior ro removing it

There is also mention of putting a resistor/diode/something in the wiring loom. Saves taking the dash to pieces

taking the bulb out is as easy as wiring a resistor in.
