had some new brake disks and pads fitted about two weeks ago and just recently they have started to squeel now and then like when your just about to come to a halt at a junction! why could thiss be?

Are they cheap discs and pads? This can bite you in the arse as some squeal like a bitch.
Maybe you need some copper grease on the back of the pads. Always worked for me.

quite common.
get some brake cleaner and clean the face of the discs (front and back) that sometimes solves the problem. if not its the pads vibrating. some copperslip on the pad runners on the calipers and a smear on the back of the pads and the legs of the inner pad where it goes into the calliper usually sorts it

when fitting pads I always fit anti vibration pads on them rather than copperslip on the back of the pad, they are self adhesive strips which you cut to size.

theres no way that i could do all that my self, i can get the wheels off n then thats about it lol im not very good with cars!
