Deano - as said above somewhere, map lights would make it like blackpool illuminations in my car

Flybikeslee - i cant stand the smaller mudflaps just something about them that i dont think would suit my car.

Thanks for comments though

Thanks

Graham - i think it was more a phase of 'meh, its dirty, it can stay like that'

I must confess the headrests in my car are the biggest bodge out of everything i have done No one EVER is allowed to move them or pull them up
Whats more, they sit right on your shoulder blades - uncomfortable as hell. But i dont usually have people in the back, they are there for looks not funtion

Anyways, fitting them.
I went to scrappy and hacked the headrest runners out of the front seats of a corsa.
Then i measured the width of my rear bench and after a bit of messing about with calculations i ended up knowing where abouts they should be positioned.
(Decided i only wanted 2 as 3 makes the back look too cluttered and whats more; its nigh on impossible to have 3 people in the back of a corsa )
Then i just carefully cut the material and slid one of the tubes in.
Realising that it a) wouldnt fit all the way in b) the headrest wouldnt fit in either as the metal down pole bit was too long.
(the poles have rounded bottoms, so were tube like, but only open at the top)
So i hacked the bottoms off the runner tubes then slid it back in and BOOM BOOM it worked.
The runner tubes are balanced in (but it is a tight/snug fit) and the head rests slide all the way down, but it is a total bodge But you wouldnt have known if i didnt say

Hope that makes sense, if it doesnt, say and ill try again

Might just be easier to find a backrest in the same material with the holes already in?

I have done it in my sport. Just got 2 headrests from the 2 front sport seats, and drilling holes in rear and placed them in. The dont interfear with the seating posistion it just gives it a nice touch as all 4 match

Maybe, but then if you replace the rear bench bit, you would need to have all 3 headrests in
Would look bit daft having the holes for 3, but only having 2. IMO

you could always go and get the proper guides for the rear bench from vaux, only a few quid each, they clip into the seats and allow the headrests to actually work

Right, this has been a long time in the making nearly 8 months, but finally my 2.0 setup is nearly done

Firstly i would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has helped me out with info/advice regarding the brake set up
In true CS fashion you are all very helpful and great folks. So thanks, its really appreciated.

Also thanks to ainsley_brader for the calipers and Dave A at Vsport for sorting me out with my pads and discs

Here is my thread for the brakes Just incase anyone is wanting to read or refer to it. Thread here [click]

Anyways, pictures.
I knew all along what brakes i wanted and so once my mind was set i couldnt be satisfied with anything else So ordered my Brembo grooved discs and Mintx pads from Dave A Soon arrived and looked sexual.

Fancy box for 4 pads -

Discs -

Old 1.2 'brakes' -

Everything removed -

Couldnt get the union nut undone for the brake hose and so while i was thinking what to do about it i decided my hub's were looking orange and so rubbed them down and painted them up too. Glad i did, look a lot better.

Then messed up the nut trying to undo the brake line So there wasnt much i could do, so set about trying to get the pads into the calipers Bugger me, took me 40 minutes to do the first one. But i know now

Looking pretty -

Comparison -

Got old brake line out in order to replace it with new one -

New line -

Bent to a similar shape to old one -

And fitted back into place -

This meant i could get back on with fitting my Goodridge braided hoses

Screwed disc back on -

Connected hose up to caliper -

Bolted back in place -

Then it was just for it to be bled -

Not a lot of room at all

Just got a couple of issues which i need to sort out. Main one being that i need to re-bleed my brakes and find out what is rubbing (i think its my hose but will have a look)
Also need to fit my rear hoses.
But im getting there

Comments and constructive criticism welcome
Once again, just like to say thanks to everyone who helped out

Marc.
