For my first car i bought myself a 1.2 16v SXI (thread here)

When i first got her, she was standard as can be, which is how i wanted my first car to be.

First thing i changed was the headlights, which saw them change from this -

To this -

Then i ordered my CS stickers to join in with people on here -

Then i ordered a set of smoked side repeaters off ebay, which turned out to be a bit less smoked that i had anticipated (can just about see them on these pics) -

Then i saved up and was able to order my smoked rear lights -

Then i was happy since i had my smoked headlights, smoked rears and supposedly smoked side repeaters.
Then i decided to debadge it, so i got rid of the 16v badges on the side and the badges on the boot, which left her looking like this -

I was a bit bored with the back seats, so found me some headrests on ebay, and won. So once they arrived i soon had them fitted too

After a short period of not being able to change anything on my car, i had saved up enough to order my badgeless grille. Ordered and fitted -

Cheap little things were happening to my car at this time, small bits that had been around and put off, but just needed to be done. One was my engine, so i cleaned that up (dont think it had been touched since the car was new
Also got a cover for it, which was in yellow primer -

Then smoothed and sprayed a boot lock i had and swapped it with my current one for a short while and also changed my rear wiper for a much nicer brand new one -

Didnt like it, so i swapped it for my current one, which was also sprayed -

As seen above, i also purchased some mudflaps and so got them on my car, imo looks a hell of a lot better with them on -

Then went for a little photoshoot, since my car was looking pretty much how i had imagined it so far -

Also had ordered my black plates -

(although they didnt last long and were soon removed after 2 warnings and a £30 fine )

Smoked side repeaters were getting on my nerves since they wernt really all that smoked, so ordered some more off ebay -

(orange when lit too )

Car was runing fine and everything was good....
...until my tyre was magically going down with out any sign of a puncture to the tyre found out my alloy had cracked on the inside of the wheel (near brake drum) and so dad took that to work and sorted it for me -

Then my car was off the road for over a month since it had a problem with the engine. Problem was eventually found to be that two pistons had broke and disintegrated. The bits had been dispersed out through the engine, including bits blocking my oil pump
ENIGNE BUGGERED
So got a new one found one with only 35k on it that was sorted and fitted, so car was back on the road with a new heart -

Then most recent purchase was some new plates to replace my manky old ones, so got them on order and fitted them the other day -

I was fed up of my induction kit and so i decided to modify my air box myself kind of went a bit like this (be nice ) -

So that was the restricting pipe bits out
Decided to pop a few holes in it too (wasnt sure if i did enough holes or not but ah well -

Then popped it on to replace this -

Then i moved my air feed from my grille to the lower grille -

And that is how she stands at present
Sorry about the amount of pics but hope it reads ok.

Things next on my list are lowering it about -40mm after ive checked with insurance. Possibly colour coding some interior bits and also possibly stealing my brothers bmc ( ) induction kit if it will fit, ill just have to see how it goes, if i cant steal his then im going to get a new k&n panel filter for my air box . And a new exhaust. But at this moment in time, thats where she is at

Righty, ive been able to save up a bit and so ive got myself a few little things to do over my easter vacation from uni although its due to snow over the next week or so

A job i did a while ago, but didnt get pics of was fitting my BMC air filter and swapping my cold air feed for a bigger bore one

Todays little job -

So set about popping them on -

I like

Then took my old CS stickers off to replace with my new smaller ones -

Although my car now looks empty in the back windows -

Forgive the dirty car and engine, will be sorted soon

Well that was todays work, i have a few other lil bits to do over the next few days and so ill update when done

fro - got the bracket with my filter and my cold air feed goes infront of my radiator down to the lower grille.

thanks for the comments, but i have bad news in that im not going to be able to lower it even though i have everything i need to do it. my insurance company dont insure ANY modifications, so i cant do my brakes (2L) my exhaust or my lowering

not happy

should move the cold to top grille, it will work better,
as the air doesn't have to come in at the bottom, then go up a tube, then too the air filter..

it will just go stight to the filter then

Todays job - fitting these

so i set about fitting them -

hmmmm this is getting annoying now, theres got to be another way

donned -

fitted the other side too -

And finally i have these which im unable to fit so im just going to have them lying around

Ill be sorting this later in the year, decided today that i cant fit them so im going to save up and sort out my 2L brakes and then do my suspension and brakes at the same time then find a decent company that will insure me

Picking up another little job tomorrow heheeeeeeee

thats all for now

the springs are taunting you. They say "ha" on the 4th coil done

Just fit them anyway. Its easily reversible and once there dirty they look the same as standard springs.
