I was thinking of buying this manifold

"Four branch tubular performance exhaust manifold from Sportex. The manifold replaces the standard restrictive cast iron manifold and the standard downpipe. The manifold can be fitted either to the standard cat or the Sportex cat replacer. Please note that when this manifold is fitted the EGR system is disabled. Manufactured by Sportex in mild steel, the manifold has a 2 year guarantee."

What happens if the EGR system is disabled?

eel. shutup, powerflow are shite and dont make manifolds anyway.

sportex manifolds are rubbish, they dont disable the egr system anyway, they disable the sai system. (shows how good they are, they cant even get their product description right)

get a janspeed. better design, fit and keeps all the standard sai fittings.

www.sbdev.co.uk

not cheap though, go direct to BTB (they make them for SBD) if you want to spend silly money.

janspeed one is fine, mines managed 180bhp with no problems
