finally its nearly there

i was supposed to get up early and crack on with it this morning but it was just too cold so went back to bed. when i finally got back up, i fitted new drive shaft oil seals into my gearbox then went to pick up my engine from work

with the engine in the back of sheris corsa, i made a start on tiding up the engine bay and move all the hoses and wires out of the way

then finally to getting the engine back in the bay

its done abit more since the last photo but then its not much to take photos of. fitted the gearlinkage and set that up and fitted the wiring and made it look tidy again. i wanted to get the head bolted on this evening but its too cold to be messing about outside now so will carry on tomorrow

nearly there now!

well started off 2day at about 1pm and it looked like this

next you fitted my new cometic headgasket

and then on with the cylinder head

connected up the trottle

cambelt fitted

new rocker cover

a few shots of the complete-ish engine

then i decided i would remove the heat-wrap from the exhaust so that i can get the primaries welded up and the dent removed

and then i came in to watch top gear
