cheers mav! handles soo well on them and the pzeros gripp so well!

next stage is get the cage fitted and refit the old taty red buckets for a little while.

engine progress - its all getting taken apart again! i dropped my flywheel off at my local engineers and that is currently being lightened, but they are also going to fully lighten and balance my bottom end but need the engine in bits so i better get the pistons and the crank back out lol. its another good excuse to get some more mods done to the engine at the same time!!

finnaly ive been able to get some more progress on the car.

today i only intended to fit my boot pop kit and give the car a really good clean. but instead, seeing as i had the workshop all to myself, i decided to do the following -

and a couple of pics of the outside. i only washed it ad ran out of time to polish it so that can wait for another day

teh cage is coming mate lol. just waiting for my mate to be free so we can weld the rear brackets in.

all that i have left planned for the interior now is to finish the doorcard pockets, make some rear panels up, and fit the cage.

then its just time to get the throttle bodies and get the new engine finished.

hopefully it wont be too much longer!

some more progress. dropped off my crank, pistons and conrods off today and will b picking them up next monday afternoon. i had already dropped my flywheel off last sat and had a look at that while i was there. its a fair bit lighter than it used to be! while the bottom end is being balanced im going to give the block a really good clean inside and get rid of asmuch of the gunk as possible.

also ordered a top end gasket set so i can rebuild my GM head and give it a good clean out ready to be fitted to my car during my week off.

also bought some qed42h mild cams - THANKS TO CHAPCORSA

and best of all.............. ive finally made my mind up and ordered some Jenvey DTH throttle bodies complete with DTA management and all fittings and fixtures - BIG THANKS TO DAVE A AND VSPORT

more pictures to come as progress moves forward.

i no i have loads of time but my main aim is to get it all built, fitted and running before PVS this year. mayb even run in if i have enough time!!
