So people here actually clicked 'yes download something' on a dodgy porn site and are surprised they now have some sort of malware one their system?

OJC posted a link, which was supposed to be to the Britney Spears porn video (which according to the newspapers IS on the internet). It said you need the latest codec to play it or something so i clicked it.

I (obviously) wrongly assumed OJC had watched the video before posting a link to it as a long serving member of CS, thought he was trust worthy.

First of all fooked out $30 for easy spy remover - didnt work

Bought antivermins which by the looks of it has done the trick.

was $50 though

Mav I don't know what the problem is.

You should realise how stupid that was whether it was a long standing member that posted the link or not.

All these anti virus/adware programs aren't much use if you actually agree to it being downloaded on your computer.

I would also get rid of everything like that you currently have installed if it didn't protect you.
