Done a compression test today 0 compression on 3.

Any ideas? Could it be a stuck valve considering the engine hasnt been run since March?

sounds like a valve mate or it could be a stuck lifter

how do i cure it if its a lifter?

i did notice when i had the plug out and tried cranking it there was no rush of air out the plug hole like there normally is.

or possibley a valve burnt out (only ever seen this on a LPG car tho)

You should know this rob, dont you remember the troubles we had with my car. Im guessing the head is alright, have it skimmed anyway, we thought mine was ok! New gasket, new valves, see how it is then. Il lend a hand if you want I owe you anyway.

do a leak down test!!! you will know whether its the head or not...

I had no compression in Cyl. 1, 2, 3, and only had half the amount in cyl. 4

check the camshaft it could be broken you would be unlucky to have burnt valves on 3 cylenders at the same time

think he was talking to me? anywho, yeh it was my headgasket, and the exhaust valves had corrorded, so it was leaking from there as they wasent seating properly. Proberly whats happened to your's as its been since march...
