Maybe its a tad worn then, the replacement is called a linkage repair kit. Think its about £35

for that money, I might just buy a quickshift, which is all metal, and would be better.

I just put it down to the car being a sack of crap tbh

Cable gearbox though. They don't have magical linkage systems like the older cars do...
