The heat wrap is only the rear silencer section (for now).

There are twin 044 pumps in the centre of what used to be the boot floor with that carbon difuser section covering them. Its just to try and keep heat/heat transfer down.

chris - see my final comments on that post.

Flat floor - not going to bother just for the sheer cost/weight and hassle to do it correctly. I calculated it would take about 50-60kg's of 2mm alu sheet to make a proper flat floor - not including any fixings.

The carbon used on the splitter is from Fee's orig splitter, its wrecked. Its too short too.... so was used as a simple mock up to see what was what.

The final item will extend further down to the rear diff area, and extend further out. I'm not going to lower it much as its more of an work around to remove the air brake that was the rear bumper (after wheel well & tank was removed). I may add a couple of fins

It will meet up with the floor line though, so wont be getting air above.

IF it was flat floored it fit a proper difuser.

rear flat floor section done all the way back to diff (about 110cm deep!)

will use the 'good' carbon from the splitter to make the end plates

na, you'd need a 11-13" rim for a 335. These will go with 255 888's probably.

The 355 tyres are for a viper that is up getting work done on it at Wallace Performance

yup - gutted they arent using Oulton this year. My fav UK track.

Some pics, vids and 'stuff'

Fee had the car out for some testing on the 10th.... she did little testing, but lots of low boost fun

Issues - with rear ARB firmed up again the rear inside was 100% lifting. Easy to address/test

Rear diff seemed MUCH more controllable (reverted to O.E. LSD), allowing her to get power on much earlier - this paired with Neilo's TX box upgraded meant she was able to get some real drive out of corners! She felt the front end pulling for once!

some pics

Vid (1.2bar, so low 500bhp perhaps, EVO 2.0bar = ???bhp)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVFpKoaVv-Y

Oh, the EVO had a split boost hose it would seem... that may account for the overfueling!

some more pics and some data logs

corner speeds up (from a 55sec TA winning lap of hers), hairpin back to normal/faster with predictable rear end. 58.0 sec lap of KH on low boost, with lifts for traffic - not bad

she still got it a bit wrong though LOL cold tyres and power on exit kerb - weeeee

(rear wing angle needs toned down!)

anyway...

Thats the slightly wider front wings going on. Left on, right OE. Bumper not fitted/adjusted yet

[/

also waiting on a new front bumper...

Recent ups and downs...

55sec lap in KH TimeAttack qualifying but smashed gearbox on 'flyer' with boost wound up.

Class win in KMSC Modified Saloons, and 2nd place in race 2.

TOTB - 2nd quickest GTR on handling circuit, but smashed another gearbox on 2nd fullboost 1/4mile launch.

Changes:

Now running a completly non-standard 4wd system much more like an Imprezas DCCD. Have a look at ETS-Pro if you are interested. Seems to give much less understeer when looking for more exit grip.

Gearbox - finally took the plunge and bought a 6sp sequential. <gulp>

Breather system - will be adding some baffle plates to the cam cover breathers - need to try and complicate/slow down the passage from oil as on the slicks we're starting to get more oil spat into the catch tank.
On the issue of the catch tank we're adding a drain to the sump so any oil spat out returns to the sump.

Future - Fee has upgraded her race licenve to National A and will be entrying 3 races of the GT Cup http://www.gtcup.co.uk - prob in GT2 class.

Bad news - she had an off in qualifying for KMSC modified saloons and ended on top of the tyrewall at the base of duffus (knockhill). No real lasting damage but minor panel scufs and cracked GRP front wings, wrecked splitter and diffuser.

after the bash

I cant take photos for shit... everyone else seems to take a pic of it shooting flames though! Its been toned down a lot from the start of the year though.

On the dyno the fueling is fine ( a little rich to keep temps down ) but seemed to be mega fuel when run in the 'real world' - esp when lifting off partially. Went out with Matty from Wallace Performance and did some miles on the road checking the fueling and taking some out on the over run where it was doing things completly differently than when it was loaded on the dyno.

Having still road legal makes it nice and easy at time
