Didn't you gain 20 brake in your 106 GTi with a cat back and induction kit? If it weren't you, it seems to be the norm for them from what i've read.

Can't see why a VVC engine, which probably revs to around 8k, can't see similar benifits .

n/a - waste of time with no other mods.
turbo - risky, but worth it if done right.
turbo derv - if done correctly and safely then definately worth it.

here I am

dont get me started on 'chippeduk'

do a search on migweb and passion ford, they are a propper dodgy set-up. they tried selling people on MIG and PF their stuff, unfortunately they tried it on with the wrong people as most members on both site know more about engine management than chippeduk will ever know.

Ah, a facts Vs misinformed opinion fest from owners of that Barryboy staple - the Corsa.

Vauxhall Corsa - default choice of the imagination free.

Fact is, an Ignis Sport in standard form is quicker than a GSi, and a remapped Ignis would eat it.

These remap results are real, tried and tested with multiple owners getting similar results. Get over it.

Simply, the 1.5 VVt Twin-can 16v engine in the Ignis Sport is brilliant, and has much tuning scope. In fact, the 2004 JWRC winning car has much the same engine, only bored out to 1600cc, VVT removed and tuned to over 200bhp.

Final point- what would qualify owners of Corsas to criticise a superior car?

Jealousy is a cruel mistress...

You signed up especially to say that. Well done.

No one commented on what car was better. We were meerly discussing the facts when it comes to remaps.

Oh and grip to be fair some people on that site have no idea fr example:

that link made me laugh to be honest, i was gonna post in it to explain a few things to them but you can just tell from their attitude what sort of people they are. they could have looked at the evidence in front of them and came to an "inteligent" conclusion that maybe required a little thought along the way.

tbh if someone aproched me and said they had their 1.6 or even 1.4 corsa remaped and saw a gain of 30bhp with induction and exhaust i probably wouldnt doubt them.

As stated earlier on I worked for Suzuki. Ignis sport is decent performance. Never been in a GSi so couldn't compare, but Ignis sport is still a Suzuki! Therefore not in any way superior the Corsa. So go back to where you come from!

Rolling Road figures can easily be fixed by a simple few clicks on the software. Not saying the figures are wrong, but they could be.

Same as the C16XE GSi engine then .

Thought so.

He probably hasn't even stopped to think that you can get figures like 250bhp out of a Corsa 1.6 though Robin

I also like the irony of "Get over it", in a post from someone who registered with the sole intention of posting
