you would expect, given that this is a corsa forum, for people to tell you the xe but i guarantee with the amount of anti corsa opinion there seems to be about on the board most will tell you the 306

306 Rallye is lightweight. The S16 is less powerful.

i can have the s16 for 500 notes its just had a full rebuild after head gasket went guy wants rid i fancy avin a dabble with it

insurance is group 15 car appears ok takin it for test drive tomoz £500 aint a bad price i dont think

i wouldnt touch a 306 s16, i now 3 people who had them and , all of them had head gasket problems and the cars were never the same afterwoods. One of my mates has been sat in his garden rotting for two years cus after the head gasket went for the second time its just not worth putting it back on the road.

Theres a reason the guy wants rid mate

I have never driven either car therefore cannot comment.

I was just stating the way threads like this go on here with the band of merry men like yourself who shoot down the corsa at every opportunity, sometimes it's not as cut and dry as 'it'll never handle, can't go round corners' etc etc

seriously guys, they handle well, are pritty quick and have half leather etc but there is a good reason why they go for less money than an old corsa sri
