well the 306 stats compare very closely to a standard XE

either way the difference is not going to be considerable

XE is about 6.5-7.0

Pug isn't gonna be that quick 7.5 imo, will have a look.

id place a corsa xe 7-7.5 under 7 if your lucky.

either way going to be nothing in it in the real world

PEUGEOT 306 S16 < Post Reply ... 0-60 is around 8 seconds

cceleration is nice but handling is what i prefer and i am led to believe the 306 has better handle-ing capabilities

Banter is good and have read your opinions and some non fiction but i fancy a change from the corsa would not mind a corsa c with c20let in it but cant find one fancy giving the 306 a go but that post on page one about head gaskets concerns me alot

Think that was my post mate, they are good cars, handle really well pritty quick and imo look really nice, just have to watch the engines as all 3 iv been in contact with (my mates) have all had gasket problems

I agree with Hammers comments on here that 'alot' of ppl are anti-corsa, not good for a corsa site.

Personally I would choose the XE corsa, prefer the looks..

How can you have "stats" for a 2.0 corsa? its not factory...so you'd have to go on what people have achieved. 6.5 sec 0-60 for me.

And ofcourse if you search for xe problems theres going to be loads, because your totalling all the problems of everyones xe corsa's...

306, just cos its £500. then id tidy it up a bit and flog it for more than i paid and spend it on a properly sorted XE corsa

like your thinking but if i buy the 306 i will be leaving the corsa scene and probably not return i have had my fun and owned every model wish i had bought a let rather than xe wouldn't mind a tidy calibra let just like rockin horse poop to find
