I'm looking to change the GSi over to 5 stud in the next few months and fit a set of refurbd cavalier turbo wheels.

What is the easiest and cheapest way of going 5 stud??

Ive seen conversion kits on LMF but are these the only option or id there others??

As for the front hubs what do I do regarding hubs and outer CV's as it will be staying as a 1.6....

Any info much appreciated.. oh yeh and does anyone have the pic of the red GSi on cav t wheels..

Ta!!!

i dont know if you can do it with cavalier parts, but it might be worth looking into Corsa C 1.7CDTi hubs. they are 5 stud, and MIGHT work.

i've not really looked into it too much, but the C uses small block engines throughout, so the hubs should be smallblock ones.

as for the back, should work.

Cheers Robin will have to look into it... Were they discs or drums at the rear do you know??

Front hubs will be the easy part to do I think, quite a few options available hopefully..

Kano, yeah, they do have discs on the back, no 5 stud drums.

i'm pretty much 100% certain you cant do it on a smallblock using bigblock hubs, as the shafts are different.

rears yes, fronts no
