Roof skin...as in the outer panel??? Probably cost more than the cars worth!!!

Brian used to work for a bodyshop that used to buy in written off Skylines etc from the land of the rising sun and fix them. He rekons 90% of them had new roofs

Might be worth reshelling

Can you even buy that panel off mainstream manufacturers.....I think if it gets damaged they always right it off!!

Put it this was, my old boss hit a low hanging branch (thick one) in his Range Rover Vogue worth probably £30k & he decided not to have it repaired!!

yes you can buy it, lot of the ford lads do it (as there have rusted to fuck)

a brand spanking shell from vaux was only about £1000 but i doubt u will find any left in stock!

replace ur roof skin. they r the easiest panel to fit to a car.. cant really go wrong with them.. one thing tho u need to try ur best to avoid damging the new one as roof repairs are shit... should cost around 150/200 or that if u strip the car for them in a small bodyshop. really not a big job at all...
