ive had a roof skin put onto a saxo before, wasnt too bad

dont repair it, if its really bad with dents, its more hassle than its worth. roof repairs are tricky, replacing the roofskin on ur corsa is approx half a days work and itll be much better than any roof repair...

i've seen this done...

its just a few spot weld's along it, then just weld it up...

the lad who i watch do it made it look soo easy, probably isn't to most poeple though

take the roof rails off,
grind off the paint till you see the sport welds,
drill all the spot welds out,
same under the windscreen and in the top of the boot,
then cut the glue off from the roof surports...

Speak to Tom, the guy who he is looking to start up the business with is a pannel beater and welder so I'm sure the two of them can do it, possibly at the same time as the other stuff if you want to go through with it...

a roof skin is the easiest fixed panel to change as you just need to drill out the old spot welds clean up the mating surface, spot weld the new one in place seal up and paint. No need for any filler work like with a new quarter because you have the roof rails. don't know how much a skin would cost though
