iv bin told that you need to run them in. im gettin one fitted in a bit and i just want know what type of music can be played cause i dont want it blowin up on me. and how long it needs to be run in for.

u can play any music u want just keep the gain on the amp turned down (quarter to half way depending on the amp/sub for the first 10 hours). About 20 hours should have it run in nicely
If you dont run it in the sub will more than likely last 6 months maybe a year tops
with it run in properly it will last years and you will be able to get it to hit harder and play lower (if you install it correctlly)
