Went to replace the dash lights with LED's today...
But now none of the dash works, ie, no speedo, tacho, water temp and fuel guage. But when the engine is running the battery light is constantly on, indicator light on the dash lights still works though. Also the power steering no longer works  . Another issue is that annoying alarm that sounds when you leave your lights on, even comes on when the engine is running and the door is open  .
the car has an electronic speedo btw with the multiplug on the back.

Right, it keeps blowing fuse number 17? Any ideas what that fuse does because the guide on the cover and the haynes manual arent that informative?!

My haynes manual says fuse 17 is for the radio, MFD, intrument panel, glovebox light and electric mirrors.
Have you taken those new bulbs out? Could have fault and blowing your fuse.
