does anybody know wot causes a hot plug? check my plugs today n the cores are white ?

over fueling.....wrong compression ratio

sounds like the over fuelling as the gases from exhaust are strong. thats none adustable though init? ifso how can it be solved?

maybe you plugs are sparking right...a new set may ignite better
possibly fuel reg vaccume pipe kinked....
erm, inlet manifold leaking, too much air - ecu's overfueling to compensate lol

if its white then its not overfuelling.
they arent suppsoed to be black tho as its designed to run a cat

take a look in rear of a haynes manual the plug named overheating

overfueling = burns hotter...........heats up the centre of electrode causing it to whiten...

there black cuz its designed to run a cat??...plugs have fak all to do with a cat!!

(sorry for spammin ure thread 16valve)

overfueling will give blacker plugs
underfueling will be whiter
