I have fitted the corsa plug to the end of the xe loom, by simply matching up the wires. I am left with a large red, which I guess is permanent live. Ive flicked thru the loom and dug out the perm live to the ecu and moved it inside that car rather than going straight to tha battery, i take it I can join these two?
I also have a brown with a yellow stripe. There are two wires in the xe loom with the same colour. Do these two go to the same place? Can I simply join all 3 wires?
I also have a Plain black, which I assume is ign live? Teh ign live feed to the xe is on the passenger side by the battery. Can I cut this off and tape it up, then fish the ign live out at the ecu plug and connect it to the corsa one?
cheers

the brown with yellow is your engine management light, im pretty sure the wires that u refer to may be slightly different in some way?? (im only jusging from 2.0 8v wiring)
the black ignition live i jus connected to black wire on the ecu loom

Got it in the end.
Brown/blue is EML, had that already.
Brown yellow is the disgnostic plug, which you short out for fault codes. It comes from pin 13. There was also another brown/yellow at the ecu end of the loom which came from plug 15 and appears to be for TC which I dont have.
There was a third brown/yellow inside the ecu plug which is the signal for injector 4, handy I didnt solder all those together
I found the black ign live and moved that feed to inside the car from the corsa plug, along with the large perm live. My only concern is that the perm live feed on the cally was bigger than that on the corsa plug. Illl need to check its not getting hot once I get the car up and runnng. Ive got all the wiring done and led inside the car now which is good, now just the evergreen challenge of getting it all to sit neatly behind the trim. I gather I will have to remove the mounting flanges from theecu? I presume otherwise you just wedge it in as best you can?

Chop off the flanges and take some of the sound deadening out, then its a case of pushing it home to get the kickpanel to fit and the rubber around it.
