Right, i've read the tutorial (before anyone asks) but it doesn't explain my problem; th eradio channels save, but the bass, treble, balance, fader settings do not, and have to be set every time the sterio is switched on?
JVC headunit btw,
cheers

So the red and yellow wires have been changed but it's still not saving...
It's not something to do with actually your headunit and you need to apply those settings under a custom profile and save it is it

not really sure, will have to search out the manual for it. confused me a bit, because a mate has the same headunit in a 306d, and the settings all save on that

Have you actually switched the red and yellow?
The radio probably saves the stations and settings in different types of memory.
