Hi all, first post
Bought a 1.5td Corsa 1994 GLS yesterday.
Its very slow, don't think theres any boost at all. When I take the actuator pipe off it makes no difference.
Its only done 65,000 miles and runs great apart from that.
Took the turbo off today, seems fine and the wastegate seems good.
Is there a seal between the top section of the inlet manifold and the bottom section? If so then is it possible that seal has gone and air is going directly into the inlet and bypassing the turbo altogether?
Apart from that could the overboost vent valve (big thing on the front of the inlet manifold) be knackered and allowing all boost to vent out?
Thanks
Darren
