to a corsa td. i know i need the fwd conversion kit, will i have to weld up some brackets or anything like that?

no mate, u shud gets mounts with a fittin kit depends if u wanna spend money though

just preparing the car for engine transplant, the old f13 isnt really upto the job on my current engine anymore either.

yes as u need to make a spacer or somthing, as the lickage hit the bulkhead or somthing (as never done one/even looked), BUT supose PVD sell this spacer u need.

as if u used standard lickage u can not select 5 and 6

don't you need a different cluch plate as well? i thought the F-28 spline is a different size to the F-13?

would be good to know the outcome tho

2.0 dti is in the process, just need all teh bits before so i can sort it.

Don't forget, the F28 box was designed around 204Bhp and lots of low down torque which I would have thought is a long way off a diesel engine so you may find that your car struggles with the F28.

pete advised me to get the f28 gearbox with c20let conversion, so maybe consider all the options first kris

the kit pvd sell for the 2.0 dti and 2.2 dti conversionn comes with the f28 gear box fwd conversion, so im guessing it should be fine, its an m-tec kit.

There are slight differences in price for various reasons, but M Tech will not sell parts direct in the UK - PVD are the sole importers.

well they were gonna sell me some parts eg engine mounts and rear beam

they told me too speak to pvd when i emailed them about some technical questions. hope pvd can answer them

J100 - that might have been the case a while ago, but since February we are the sole UK distributors.

The F28 is much heavier than the F20, F16etc, Its also very expensive.

Unless you are going to have over 200ft/lb's of torque I would recomend an F20.

in last months total vauxhaul it gives a guide on how to convert ur car for a f 28 but to do it ul need a f20 gearbox and an f28

right thats it, engine tuning time. got my car yesterday (1.5td ) and compared it to my bro's ( kris td ) and its sucks! sooo slow!
