hi xe ticks over at 1500 revs how can i make it tick over quiter really bugs me lol

mine revved too high when i left the idle control valve connector unplugged

no mine is all plugged up just revs high and sounds horrible

Could be a dodgy ICV or check the throttle position switch. Was shown earlier this week if its at the wrong angle it wll cause it to rev high. Best way to check if its in the right position is when you pull the throttle back on the throtle body it should click if you hear no click then its on the wrong position.
