i'm just replacing rear pads n discs on my '02 Astra G (maybe same as a Corsa C with rear discs) and the handbrake is on the pads.

i'm trying to push the pistons back in the caliper with eagle beaks, but they won't budge, i've tried taking the handbrake cable off the caliper but still won't move

Any 1 know how to do this, as i'm in the middle of it n stuck, cheers

twist them......i found the easies tool is a pair of pipe crips (to twist) and g-clamp to apply pressure to the piston.
releasing the h/brake cable will not help, it will help if you undo the bleed nipple
