As im here now.... And i've got FA to do today....

Started as a standard Sport 1.4 16v, rare Aurua purple colour. With wheels and exhaust added, it was lowered and first ICE install (6x9's n 12" subby). First ever Magnex 6x4 fitted to a corsa. Caused quite a stir.. Straight away wanted two of them.

I got some braided hosing and attempted my first engine tidy. It failed, badly!!

Lowered and she got some paint on the bumpers, handles etc..

Then put her on the rollers...

Then styled the engine more, cam cover, new hoses (D4 used as a demo for 1.4/1.6 16v SFS hose kits).

Also started off the trend of the "Cossie Cone" or as it was know for the last few years, the BFO cone (BFO = Big Fark Off).

Then some new wheels (15"s to 16"s), removed the rear seats, put new bucket front seats in etc...

Got some new Lexus Lights at Trax 2001. Brand new out (1st set of Lexus lights), got them, hated them, fitted them, hated even more, car never saw daylight with them on. Tooooo embarrasing.

Tarted up the engine bay a bit more, more chrome, strut braces etc. Also clear front lights added (only aftermarket front lights to come out at this stage, all clear).

Then i had spare wheel arch cut out, new exhaust system fitted that i always wanted since the day i got the first 6x4..., whoooooooo..

Stripped with cabling in ready for new ICE Mk2

ICE'd up Mk2 (x2 15" Cerwins, front comps, amps, bustom box etc etc).

Big ass brakes fitted, V6, only just worked out they fit the corsa... (purists may spot the dumb ass mistake with the calipers )

Then took ICE out again to add a few mroe bits, check dat bad bowy wheelbarrow out....

Paint = mmmmmmmmmmmm

ICE Remake mk3 (yes it got carpetted, neons etc).

Then got bored again, stripped inside, soud deadend, retrimmed doorcards n false floor to matching material as front seats. Filled up withc shiney handbrake/gearnob/gator/surround/doorpins/door handles etc..

Kitted, resprayed yadder yadder blah blah. Car rolled down my drive bending back the door, ripping the hinges, bending the A piller, new door, new front wing, piller re-positioned etc. Sod it, might as well go the whole hog.... Spent muchos on parts.... Irmscher, Stienmetz, 1 off bonnet etc yadder...

Funky TVR Reg plate

Check that paint out (resprayed original colour, but came out darker).

Looked good, went to Belgium with tarty 1.4 engine etc. Euros loved us..

Awwww, aint they cute...

Then i had some cash left, bird peswaded me to upgrade the 1.4 to the 2.0. Damn women...

Had to get the exhausts raised, again........ And cut into the lower part of the bumper...

Oooo, new ICE, mk4. Got it fitted, working, blew up amp, 1 sub, head unit, and weighed 170+kg at this point, time to give up on ICE now. Ears hurting and 145db is enough.

It was damn good while it lasted!!!! HEar it for miles away 8)

Parp, hint, always research and plan what your doing BEFORE you do it. It helps.

So anyway, that all blew, it was heavy. New engine + more weight, defies the point. ICE gets sold, now false floored still. So whats next

Ahhh, brake, rears... Rear disc conversion... Ewww mingin drums.

Da daaaaa, rear discs...

Cut seat subframes as was fedup with head in clouds..

Dig it old man.... PVS 2003.... Last thing i done for CS

Bit tatty.... Can't be doing that!!!

Ok, so take her up the pod..

Driving Round Silverstone at Trax.

Had some professional photos done as well. These have been blown up and are on my wall... Rear discs look goooooooood.

Had a crack at the 0-60 as well. What a crock o poop.... Timing gear is so far off its un-true.... Looks good though ha ha

The reason she can't go any lower. Gutted...

So time to get gritty. Painting begins..

Back to that engine, gotta get some bling man, its all about the bling..

Even more chrome added since....

Few couple arty shots...

Few more randoms

And thats of last year. Since then, shes been in hiding in the garage while i start my life, do holidays, houses, weekends away, motorbikes etc. Car will just have to wait a year or two to be started on again...

Currently, needs a new dash loom, some sinkings repaired. I have sold that bonnet and have a new normal bad boy one. It'll be a while before it comes out again.

Then we come to the videos.....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ix_AaLCkeic

C20LET Vs 20XE (Turbo Vs NA 16v). From 2nd gear... I loose...

http://media.putfile.com/D5nnA-whoop-ass2

Heres inside a C20LET of the womens...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jeg7y8h2zPk

Not seen daylight since Feb 2005. Currently awaiting bank balance to rebuild after buying a bike, going on a mental all out holiday, and errr, a house..... Hoping to get it on the road again at some point, then either sell her or strip her (more likley, someone else owning my work, sod that )

And that children concludes our story for today.

:thanks: :

Aurora Purple is such a cool colour!

Interesting seeing it going from near enough to standard to how it is now

Aye, still got Arnies old bonnet in my garage, still silver.... That bonnet above went about a year ago Gutted....

Jamie, wouldn't say that, but back in 2000-2002 there wasn't much about for corsas, and there were a few of us who tried to change that, as cheaply as possible

I waited 3 months for that Magnex back box!! Got a free Magnex fleece.

Pete (PVD pete) used the idea of the Cossie Cone (he called me Cone, i called him Fonz ha ha). Its just a Cosworth Large Turbo filtted to the corsa..

Thanks Mav, notice Sootys post has just been deleted also......
