Andy Hamiltons car looks extremly slow, but loud. I stood at the end of the runway, you can hear his car for ages, then it eventually goes past. Having now seem many more videos at Brunters, it looked really really slow...

Watching Lee's/Rentons old Corsa launch, it was just as quick as Andys, with 1/4 the spending on the engine.

Whats happened to Andys car?
Lucky B's car is by far the quickest on the day, got in car footage and a few launches.

We need another Corsa Vs Saxo day, someone sort one out.

Evolved a bit since then. Rebuilt from the ground up, stripped out, roll cage, Quaife straight cut close ratio box, custom ram air intake, new engine build to Swindon Racing spec

I now have a WRX STI running 280bhp as my daily driver, and while the Scoob is quicker to 60, from 30 to 90 (ie real world speeds) the Corsa annihilates it.

Oh, and the Corsa's up for sale next month

Andy, how you doing fella. Any updated pictures on you car so I can add it to my section on my site?

I've still got no doubt your car would be great round a track, but on a 2 mile runway as wide as it is, it looks really slow. Sounds loud though.

New Engine to Swindon built spec, at last, someone has taken an engine to Swindon racing. Has it been rebuilt yet and in the car? Any dyno figures yet? Would be interesting to see if they dragged any more power from it.
