What did you mean about cutting the seat frames? does this make the standard seats sit lower? if so could you post details on what you did

Basically I bought the seats from Andy Stocker in ummm, 2001 I think. Andy fitted them at Daves house (Harwood, err original C4RSA owner). They sat with my head just about touching the roof, (im 5ft 8).

The brackets hang down in L shapes, it was just a case of cutting through the metal, re-drilling new holes as close to the bottom of the seat as possible, then re-fitting them.

Still sit upstairs, but no risk of knocking myself out now if i go over a bump to quick

Have we got any of yours when ir was original Grigglet????

This is Arnies bonnet I bought... I like it as the "bad boy" light bits are curved and follows the rest of the bumper lines..

That was a 'in progress' pic.

This is the only pic I've got of when it was finished. Was taken on phone hence bad quality.

Let me know when its sprayed up and fitted Daimo!

Indeed, and welcome back, Daimo!

Never did get to see what the car originally looked like, think the first I saw of it was at Billing (umm, in some year like 2001 or 2002, can't remember), when it looked like this:

Sorry to say I wasn't a big fan of the "curved" bonnet, but that's my own personal preference......in my opinion, should look better with that newer bonnet on.

Oi oi Dan, hows tricks

Lucky, eerrrrrr *hides head in corner* didn't I post it? Bugger... Sure i video'd it for you?

Muppet - You wasn't around so wouldn't understand, it wasn't anything to do with cossies apart from the cone itself. AS i say, you wasn't around then so don't worry about understanding

Ainsley, picked it up, 13500 miles on it in Feb 2000. Was already a member on here by then.

Jonny, hence the wheelbarrow stage Didn't look good, but was WIP

Is there any way you could upload it onto the net? (if you still have it)

I'm sure everyone would love to see/hear it.

Not too bad, cheers, work's going OK (if you call being sent to Rotterdam for another training course as just "OK" ).

Currently in the "wonderful" position of saving up to buy a house, can't wait to escape from renting.....finally.

How're you & Donna these days? Say 'ello from me, by the way...

Tell you what, i feel really bad now as you always were patient and asked so nicely. I've moved house since then, i will make a real effort to make a copy for you fella!!!!!!!!

If anyone can transfer VHS onto the internet, be my guest. TBH, apart from my poor commentating, the video is damn good!!! Got your car on there, Nitrous saxos, Lukes turbo 1.6 sitting at the limiter in 5th, plus launching shots.

I even got Andy Hamilton at the end of the runway, 8000+rpm in 5th, 135mph.. Can hear it for ages before you see him. DAMMIT, i want to find that video now just to watch it

Can't all be bad. Kinda of the same fella, went to Rome, Milan and Brussels a few months back for a real poncy audit... REally boring, but 1/2 days and it was stunning sunshine.

Yeah were doing really well mate. Got our of place now. We stopped doing the cars as we decided to have a life instead of cars cars cars all the time. We saved up to kit the house out too, waiting to sell Donnas little SXi so I can get my 40" LCD TV and surround etc

Keep at it dude, the more you can save from having to put on your mortgage the better
