if i put a new engine (1.4 sri) with a new ecu into my corsa 1.0 12v will my key work or what would i have to change as i am a wee bit confused about transponders and ecus etc
thanks if anyone can help me!

if the 1.4 is from an immobilised car then you will need the chip from the key and the transponder pic-up from round the lock barrell from the same car as the ecu/engine.
just put the chip into your key and plug in the transponder to your car. job done
