ive just recently bought a 1.4 sri corsa C and im very pleased with it.
but the brakes are squeeking at low braking speeds. its starting to get very annoying, i have taken the car into vauxhall and they say they have sorted it and cleaned the brakes. but low and behold, one day after they are still squeeking.
they say that if they are to clean the brakes again, the warranty would not cover it (which is bollocks)
can anyone suggest what the noise might be?????
ive been thinking of jet washing the brakes with the alloys off? will this help/??

take the brake pads out and put some copperslip on the non contact side of the pads, and rough the contact surfaces up on some sandpaper
my mums used to do it, this sorted it out (hers is a 1.8 and it was the back ones which wer doing it)
