How much will it reduce petrol consumption by, my mate says anything upto 35% so I'd be getting just over 20mpg in a 1.2 8 valve...

how does a K&N affect fuel consumption. I got given one a while ago so i put it on, and im treally considering chanign back to my air box and drilling it

Your car is set up on computer management it will use the amount of fuel and air it requires and petrol consumption is up to you and your right foot

Air filters just make air more accesable to the inlet pipe i personally think a drilled air box improves response from the engine as air is more easily available

EG: - you try running wiv a sponge in ya nose an gob you wont run very well you take em out and you can breathe and run better
