I hope it will pass ok this year!

Put standard headlights back on and also put the standard rear lights on as not sure if the MHWs are legal without sticking some reflectors on the rear bumper.

Doesn't look half as good pics taken on new camera phone

Other job to do sometime is get the front left mudflap put back on cos it came loose the other day when I reversed over a raised bit of tarmac with my wheel turned and my wheel started to catch it so I took it off before it fell off.

Got MOT on wednesday, hope it passes emissions this year

It would probably pass but seen as though I have the standard rear lights and it doesn't take long to change them over I thought I would not take the chance

Last time it went for MOT it failed on emissions so I took it to Vauxhall, they put it on the diagnostic machine and found nothing wrong with it. They then ran it on their emissions machine and it passed. They said it was running sweet as a nut and nothing was wrong with it.

I went back to the garage that was doing the MOT to have it retested and it failed again... and again... took it for a thrash up the road then put it back on the machine and it failed again! In the end they 'lost' ( ) their copy of the emissions read out and gave me the MOT anyway

this year its all gone high tec with MOTs so its going to Vauxhall to be done!

this is the reason that i will not be mot'ing the corsa, no way it will pass, so its strictly off road from now on (except for shows at santapod/silverstone)

It kinda makes me wonder if it was the garage that was doing the MOT that had dodgy equipment as it passed no bother at Vauxhall.

Only downside to having it done at Vaux is that if it needs anything doing its £57.50+VAT per hour for the labour

I got told with mot's that because the car is stood then just started for the immesions the car is full of crap,

so the best thing to do is rag it about in the morning before the MOT and ask them to run it before they throw it on the test

I tried taking it for a good blast last time but it didn't make a difference

Standard headlights are so much better for lighting up the road, think its cos my FK ones have a cover over the bulb so it blocks alot of the light. I think I might cut the bulb cover off might be able to see the bulb cover in this pic

where does the £166 come from
you are looking at £15 for parts, cable is easy, bit footery.
track rod ends shouldnt cost much to get done at all

£91 for handbrake cables?!? genuine Vauxhall ones are £12 and £15 for each piece and about half an hour to fit. Thats scandalous
