When storing a car in a garage what are good things to do?

Asking for my mate. He has insulated the garage and now wondering if it will need a heater or a dehumidifier?

Car is only going to be used in good weather so thats why it will be in storage most of the time. Will have a dust cover on it.

Any other tips or advice for when storing a car?

saw a thread ages ago bout a guy storing an impreza 22b

he drained all the fluids from it and had it lifted off the ground (to avoid flat spots in the tyres) - seems a bit extreme tho and i believe he was intending to store it for 10+ years

why drain the fluids from it? id make sure it had oil in it and antifreeze. stop moisture from building up in the engine and making it rot

wtf? raised to stop tyres getting flat spots? tyres are a lot cheaper than a sagging chassis (depending on how he has raised it obviously).

yeah a dehumidifier, temp won't affect it much as long as you have all antifreeze etc good. and grease up the battery terminals, some WD40 to drive any moisture out places like round suspension mounts.

I remember this, he wanted to store it so it was the only mint 22b left in 15 years time

Chances are he will die before then, or wrap the car round a lampost when taking it on its maiden voyage
