right, im thinking of buying a 1.2 corsa. BUT in a good spec and after 97 theyre all too much, would it be better to buy a 1.4sri/sport and then drop down a few regs Still have the spec i want but pay a little more on insurance than the car?

what do u guys think... i live in liverpool so its quite high insurance ..

If you are doing it in your own name then look at a 1.2 Corsa 8v, 1.1 and 1.2 Clio and 1.0 and 1.1 106. All group 2 - 3 insurance. We all had to start somewhere

i know....hmm but i would still put SRi/GSi interior in it....i fancy a corsa more than a clio etc. because i think they look better with subtle mods. oh well...any1 else?

I'd say a wait a couple of years, ideally til you can legally drive, then contact some insurers

if on your own insurance go for a 1.2 8v - (better than the 1.0 12v)

After 1 or 2 years of no claims a you will be able to insure cars of higher insurance groups

Get a standard one and then declare any mods you do such as changing the seats, wheels etc.
