whats best for a cd player? seen ones with 4x19RMS up to 4x50RMS
should it be small or big?

The 4x50w will be peak power and the 4x19w will be rms
when buying audio gear always look at the rms figure for its true power most peak power figures are normaly the max power that can be had at peak voltage (14.4v) under no load (no speakers)

most head units are around 50w peak whats around 19-20w rms dependant on the make

ok, im looking at a JVC one, 4x19W rms and a sony that is 4x50W rms
their both the same price, mp3 so which would be best?

sony are all show and no go jvc arnt bad cant go far wrong with an alpine

aye, decided against the full alpine kit as im going to be in glasgow at college soon so dont want £300 of stuff sitting around.
the one which is £100 is out of stock online and isnt at my local halfords. if i go for a slightly cheaper one, means more money put towards other things
