got 3 grand spend on my car... bit of a compo claim come through so why not spend it??
what do i buy to make my 1.6 16v fast.. want keep the 1.6 due to insurance
i have the foolowing already...

4-2-1 manifold
de-cat
stainless exhaust
piperx induction kit
samco hoses

what do you reckon???

mantzel or thottles
etc

Convert it to a 2 litre, keep the 2 litre standard and it will probably be quicker and cheaper to insure, and cost less.

throttle bodies is the only way to get these engines to provide real power. just look at brosters and my engine as proof.

forget the 2 litre conversion, thats just a cheap method, if you have that sort of moiney build a good x16xe. if you pay me ill build you one
