It suprises me, most people i know with a 1.2 8v think their car is rapid, i've let a few of my mates drive mine, and they can't believe how much better it is.

I won't say that my car is fast, coz it's not. I got my car, because I wanted it to look good. Not so I could get fast 0-60 times 'downhill'.

The 1.2 8v's are not fucking rapid
Anyone who thinks so clearly hasnt drove anything else! There not bad for what they are, but their not quick at all 
Actually, It might be that ive got a dud engine.
Ive heared lots of people saying how they can get 110 out of their's with two up on the flat, and they think that its really quick. Sadly mine struggled to do 97 with a mate in on the flat, even though my foot had been on the floor for the last 3 mins. It also isnt very quick

my 1.1 would do 80mph flat out on a level surface... nothing more... I had 90 downhill

45Bhp is awful compared to the Corsa C 1.2 16v which has 75Bhp. That isn't fast either.

corsa c sxi is acceptable though, even as a first car its dam good... 1,2 8v was seriously under powered by vauxhall... motorways your fucked with it

ok so its slow but if ur a good enough driver and u aint racing anything way outta ur league then its ok
i think they handle ok for standard well i can handle it at speed on corners
i've dun a few other corsas and novas and golfs which have 1.3 or 1.4l engines and that have what i would consider to be better handling than mine a few of em were even lowered, and b4 everyone starts ripping in and extracting the urine FU<K OFF!
they're cheap to run, reliable and slow

I dont class mine as economical!! fair enough it's a slow car but we all have to start somewhere with the low insurance group. And anyway how are you fucked on the motorway??

they are not bad, im just saying they are underpowered for some uses... i.e. navigationg motorways down south.. there are times when you need the power to join some of the buisier motorways, and withe the 1200 8v there is no power
