Window Tinting is difficult. Ive been doing it for almost 5 years now and im still learning. You need the proper tools if you want a proper job. Ok, the tools aint expensive but to get results they are specialist.
To get the film to not crease it needs to be heat shrunk to match the contours of the window. Which involves a heat gun, some baby shampoo, a hard card and some lint free paper.
Heres a link to a site which has some good info on it but to be honest you'll just waste money trying it yourself. Worth a pop though.

Ive done this myself and tbh it is very difficult - i got a few small creases in the film but overall it looks pretty good (if i do say so myself lol) Theres no way on earth of doin the tailgate glass yourself tho unless you take the glass out

just take the glass out mate, then it is a peice of piss to do, that is what most professional places would do, and they use that pre cut tint, so might be handy if you get some of that instead of cutting it down to size etc, but def take the glass out
