For this I used:
Spray Gun (substitute with custom mix spray can from halfords £10)
Compressor (not needed with spray can)
Black Paint
Clear Laquer
Scotch Pads
Masking Tape
Follow directions of the product manufacturers and if not sure, ask!
Step one:
I masked off the reflector but this doesnt need to be done unless you want to keep it legal.

Step 2: I used a scotch pad to rough the surface up a little.

Step 3: Mix a SMALL bit of paint with clear laquer (or have a spray can mixed like that at your local halfords, i used too much black for my liking) and give the lens light, even coats.

Step 4: De-mask, stand back and admire (or decide you dont like them if your like me).

Images are on photobucket, if they become inactive u2u me as they may still be on the computer.

they'll be getting stripped down now anyway, spilled thinners on them while cleaning the gun but i'll re do them at some point soon with a flat black basecoat, then they'll get flat and pollished

Whats happened on them last two pics is that how they turned out after spraying them or is that because you spilled a load of lacquer on them.
