 | My C20XE is idleing really fast! It only seems to run normal when i nip closed the rubber pipe that goes to the little motor under the inlet manifold (idle control valve?) Although i have disconected the power to this it was still idleing fast untill i nipped the pipe closed?

Any ideas of what it could be ?

Im sorry if my discription of the problem seems poor

 Many Thanks: Allan

 | Take the ICV out clean it and make sure its dry before you put it back in, also clean the connectors on the loom side and ICV side, also when you drive it does it feel jerky aswell ?

One other think it could be is an air leak mate.
