I've had the problem thats commonly mentioned where if you pull away quick the car seems to feel reele lumpy, and jerks forward before picking up again, usually in first gear. I still havnt tackled this problem....but i've got this problem now where sometimes if i coast up to some traffic lights or something, the engine cuts out...but not ur usual stall where it jerks a bit....it jus stops, and all of the lights on the speedo come on ie airbag bag as if youve just inserted ur key into the ignition, and the steering becomes unresponsive...Any ideas whats wrong..are either linked?

It could be anything.... Crankshaft Position Sensor, Coolent Temp Sensor, MAP Sensor, Idle Controll Valve, Mass Air Flow Sensor, Cam Shaft Sensor, blocked Fuel Injector....

Those 1.2 16v's are pretty complicated engines and your best bet is to take it to Vauxhall and get them to do an ECU diagnostic which will tell you the problem. There's no point in use blindly telling you a load of random sensors which *could* be faulty
