usually at around 3500-4000rpm im getting a faint whining noise from the engine. my first thought is the alternator perhaps getting a bit tired, ive changed the cambelt, tensioners and water pump less than 6k miles ago so i cant imagine them giving up just yet. anyone have any ideas?

ive got the same problem i thought it might be the bearing in the fan belt tensioner (the spring loaded one) pulley so im goin to replace it nd see wot happens cause ive also replaced timing belt idlers and water pump
