well it's wise to do it as they get weaker with age and lowering the car alot or having excess weight on it changes the pressures and strains they're used to receiving.... for that reason either new or uprated one's are recommended. they're quite cheap and unless your one's you have atm are in a good condition i'd advice changing them.

Siberia or corsa808 may confirm this

yeah good idea sam, i've done alot to the front so I should really match the back with new/uprated bits.

i think its those : Rear beam mounting bush 2 per car (each).

^ thats a different part.... the part willay has in the pics goes at the top of the shock absorber were it enters the car.... willay if you dont have a new and the one you have there looks alright(i.e no splits or cracks)just reuse it. You should be able to get them new from vaux for penneys if you really wan to tchange it...

william its the bit on the far left as Siberia said the metal plate and 1st rubber go underneath then the 2nd rubber and plate go in the car iirc

Ok, in my defence I posted the picture cause the rubber mount thingy that comes with the corsa looks alot better then the ones on my second hand struts and I didnt want to damage anything

i'd advise getting some covers for them shocks if you dont have them....

again, are the covers universal? where from etc?

I did look at using the GM ones on mine but they dont fit snug at all

think it would be a case of trial and error.... maybe wait and see if somone you know is trowing out fecked shocks and try the covers off them...

they'll get ruined if you runn them the way they are there...
