Why hello there.

It seems my rear suspension struts are leaking and will fail MOT like one of L33 LEG's creations, so I'm thinking about replacing the whole setup with some after market goodness in the near future but WTF are the options for us with C's?

Links/comments are most welcome.

I saw koni mentioned somewhere else on another thread and their corsa b kits are quite widely praised on here so would expect their other kits to be just as good..

Koni shocks I find are very hard and rock solid, if you want to retain ride quality get Eibach shocks and springs.

Mate if its only a car top get you around I wouldnt bother with Uprated suspension as it'll be harsh and bumpy.

Seeing as you live out in the wilderness of Essex I would just get some standard shocks with some Eibach springs so its slightly lower and rides fairly stock.

Wil make it easier to sell on as well if need be

eibach springs are recommended for 30mm
apex springs for 40mm
fk or kw coilovers for up to 70mm

irmscher springs and shocks are eibach (just with the irmscher logo on) and about 3 times more expensive!

Do Eibach springs make a big difference to cornering but are still quite a good ride? I heard they are pretty good but still give a comfy ride unlike some other brands?

Eibach shocks and springs are EXACTLY the same as the Irmscher ones.

Don't let Vauxhall con you into buying the Irmscher ones for an extra £200 quid
