You'll have to piggyback a wire direct off the pea green one on the ECU, the wire which increases in voltage as the rpm goes up

I need to know this too?
Do i need to just get the green wire from the ec and run it to the back of the speedo?
Where is the ECU on a 1.0 12v?

Thats some grave digging there mate You need to run a wire from the ECU which will be in the engine bay on your car. You need to run it into the car and upto the clocks.

I can't remember off hand which pin you go from/to but I should have the info some where.

Not sure if you can do it on a 1 litre because it only has three cylinders.

That might be why you can't find anything.

may be worth getting something up in tutorials/faq about clocks Ian..

i.e. what's normally lecky and cable, what's 130mph and what's 140mph and how to wire in rev

...maybe, just a suggestion

You can I done it on mine.

You need 3 cylinder rev counter clocks, run a wire from the ECU which is located behind the inlet manifold, pin number 2 on the ECU plug nearest to the bulkhead, then run it upto the big block behind the clocks, pin 5 iirc.
